Daycare Pricing, Hours, and Information

Unlike other Northern Kentucky dog daycare facilities, dogs at Ruffin’ It play in an open area with other dogs that match their personality, size, and activity level. We are dedicated to consistently providing high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality pet care, and furnishing a clean, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere at a reasonable price.

Price per dog:
  • Full day (up to 12 hours): $35
  • Additional dog(s): $31 for a full day for each dog (limited per household)
  • $3.00 charge for food administered during nap time for dogs over 6 months (unless boarding)

Pick up anytime before 7 pm. Dogs not picked up by 7:30 pm go into boarding.​

Ruffin’ It Requirements
For a safe, streamlined transition into daycare, your dog should:
  • Pass a temperament evaluation
  • Be at least four months old, with all boosters up to date, including Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo
  • Be spayed or neutered, if over 12 months and in daycare
  • Be free of contagious diseases, viruses, or parasites, such as ticks, fleas, and influenza
  • Must be current on flea and tick preventative
Upon successfully passing the temperament evaluation, your pup will have access to participate in our daycare services. With an emphasis on safety, the dogs in our care thrive in the four indoor playrooms and four outdoor yards to best suit their play style.​

Policies:
  • If you need to cancel a scheduled daycare please cancel by 11:59 pm the night before
  • Due to limited daycare availability, owners who do not cancel a scheduled daycare and do not show up will be charged the full amount ($30) for the spot they reserved

Please note:
  • For a seamless first day, we politely request for your pup to be dropped off between 6:30 am and 8:00 am.
  • Our friendly team will evaluate your dog’s behavior, personality, and play style, identifying concerns that may need to be resolved before they are introduced to the group. If no issues arise, they will receive a green light to join one of our playgroups.
  • Rest assured; our staff will keep you updated about your dog’s progress throughout the evaluation day.
  • We encourage all pups to hop into a crate for nap time. If there’s something else that would better suit your dog for nap time, we’re always a call away.
  • We press ‘pause’ on playtime at noon for 2 hours to allow for a resting period complete with dimmed lights and a calming meditation playlist.
  • Once your dog has enjoyed a fun-packed first day, you’re welcome to jump on our online scheduling system for ultra-easy reservations. Due to limited capacity, some days may be fully booked.
  • No Saturday Daycare hours.
 
At our core lies transparency. At the end of each visit, your pup will receive a handwritten report card at checkout. You will learn who their friends were during the day and how they interacted with their pack. Ultimately, we understand that every pup is different, so we’re committed to taking time to ease your dog in at their own pace.
